There are many different types of fabrics for upholstery. You may have nylon, polyester, cotton, wool or a blend of different kinds. We will take the precautions needed to ensure we use the right cleaning agent for the right fibers.
There are several steps needed to ensure your upholstery is cleaned and sanitized right:
First we will do a preliminary inspection to see if there is any damage to make sure we don’t harm the piece any further. We will then do a pre vacuum to remove all the loose soils so we can concentrate on the more involved soiling. We then apply out state of the art cleaning solution (different ones for different fibers) to break down all the different types of soils embedded into the fibers.
These cleaning solutions also have an added enzyme which will also take care of most odors. Deeper odors will require deeper deodorizing. We will also use, if needed, specialized products for more stubborn spots such as ink, gum, coffee, etc. After we allow the agents to work for a while, we then use our upholstery tool, powered by our truck mounted hot water equipment, and by hand, extract all the cleaning solutions. Our cleaning tool will be able to just clean the fibers, and not the interior of the piece. This allows the fibers to dry very fast.
We make sure to take our time to clean every inch of your upholstery. Even the parts you don’t see every day. When we are finished, your upholstery will be shining, healthy and can be enjoyed by the whole family again.
Leather can be cleaned by using state of the art cleaners specifically designed to create a healthy shine. Whether we are cleaning protected, aniline, or nubuck leather, we will help make it look like new again. There is a three step process to make this happen:
First we will use a safe cleaning agent and cloth to remove any soils and bacteria throughout the entire piece of upholstery. After the piece is healthy we apply a Hydro-Force leather protector. This will help your leather from future damage caused by soiling, allowing you to enjoy your couches or chairs for a long time. After your leather is cleaned and protected we will use a third agent to restore the dry looking areas of your leather upholstery. When we are all finished your leather will look as new as possible.
